Life
Behind the Wheel
Wes has a lifelong passion for cars, including working on, modifying, racing, and driving his 1995 Z28 Camaro Convertible.
From road trips and drag strips to high-speed driving experiences, automobiles are an important part of his life outside of ministry.
Beyond the Pulpit
Cars
Wes has a 1995 Z28 Camaro Convertible, which he enjoys working on and driving. He's done extensive engine and body work and has taken road trips, raced at nearby dragstrips, taken a High Speed Driving Class, and driven the Corvette Museum Road Race track.
Woodworking
He's built a lighted pantry for his daughter, a cabinet for his printers and electronic gear, decks, a storage shed with a loft, a media booth for his church, and a dividing wall between classrooms.
Electronics
Wes builds his own computers and has built computers for others, wired churches with Ethernet, installed surveillance cameras, and built the broadcast system at his church with four PTZ cameras.
Music
Wes earned a degree in Sacred Music with a vocal emphasis. He has competed and placed in regional NATS voice competitions. He plays guitar and is learning worship keyboard.
A life well lived.
He and his wife, Susan Evans Brockway, were married on January 10, 1976, at FBC, Atlanta, GA. They met at FBC in the college ensemble, Sonlight.
They have two children, Glynn (Amber) and Jessica (Aaron), who have each given them three grandchildren for a total of three grandsons and three granddaughters.
The whole family lives in the Louisville, KY area.

Book Fair
I had the great opportunity to speak to fair visitors from countries around the world including England, America, India, Turkey, Georgia, and Germany, and give them a copy of my book.
Several were not going to take a book, but when I explained that it was for the person who had lost their excitement for what they believe in, and that it was written to foster renewed hope, they decided they could use the encouragement.
